Red is about to learn that saving Bird Island may have been easier than raising a family.
In The Angry Birds Movie 3, Jason Sudeikis, 50, returns as the famously short-tempered bird. But this time, he's facing a very different challenge: parenthood.
Voiced by Walker Scobell, Emma Myers and Psalm West, PEOPLE is exclusively revealing a first look at Red and Silver's children.
Scobell, 17, plays Glider, Red and Silver's adventurous teenage son, while Myers, 24, plays June, their creative and independent teenage daughter. Joining the family is West, 7, as baby hatchling Olly, while Saturday Night Live's James Austin Johnson voices the family's pet spider, Fuzzy.
The third installment also sees Danny McBride, 49, and Josh Gad return as fan favorites, Bomb and Chuck, alongside Rachel Bloom, 39, as Silver.

For Scobell, joining the beloved franchise felt like a full-circle moment.
"My mom used to have this iPad with this pink case," Scobell tells PEOPLE. "Me and my siblings used to always play games on that when we were younger, and I remember Angry Birds was one of them."
The actor says he played multiple versions of the game growing up, including the popular Angry Birds Star Wars spinoff.
"I always liked Chuck," he says of the speedy yellow bird played by Gad, 45. "He was always my favorite. And then I remember I actually saw the first Angry Birds movie in theaters. He was my favorite from then on."

Myers also has fond memories of the franchise.
"I played it a lot on my phone when I was a kid," she says. "It's one of those classic phone games when you're a kid to play."
Though she admits she had a soft spot for the pigs.
"The pigs were my favorite," Myers shares with a laugh. "I always felt really sad that I would attack them."
While previous Angry Birds movies focused on Red's adventures, the new film introduces a family dynamic that puts the character in unfamiliar territory. According to Myers, Red is trying his best to be a "cool" dad, even if it doesn't always go according to plan.
"He tries to be super involved and then unintentionally really embarrasses his children, which is such a dad thing to do," she explains. "I think he's trying to be hip and cool with the kids, but then is just super cringey, which is just a classic dad move."
The film explores several stages of parenting at once, with Red and Silver navigating life with children of different ages.

"It definitely shows you that journey of having a baby and then a kid in middle school and then a kid in high school," Myers says. "Each one of them presents their own different struggle or their own different problem."
Scobell says Glider presents challenges all his own.
"He's always trying to do the next most dangerous thing," the actor says. "It's kind of hard for Red to handle that and keep him from hurting himself, but also not totally stop him from doing anything fun."
As for what Red's children inherit from their father, Scobell doesn't necessarily think it's the bird's famous temper.
"I think it's more like his disregard for the rules sometimes," he explains.
Myers agrees the kids may have a little attitude, but not for the reason fans might expect.
"Maybe they've got a big temper, but it's not just because they inherited a trait of his," she says. "It's more of just he makes them so embarrassed that they then get really angry."

Although the cast plays a family on screen, both actors reveal that voice acting meant they rarely worked together. In fact, Scobell said he still hasn't met most of his fellow cast members.
"I still haven't met any of the other people in the movie," Scobell admits. "But I think that's something that's cool about it."
Myers had a similar experience, though she and Scobell kept in touch after recording sessions.
"Walker and I would be texting afterwards being like, 'This is what I did,'" she says. "And he'd be like, 'Are you super tired? Like, I was yelling my whole session.' I'm like, 'Yeah, me too. I'm super tired.'"
For Scobell, the film's biggest strength is the emotional core at the center of all the chaos.
"It just puts a completely different spin on the Angry Birds universe," he says. "It's got a real heart to it."
Myers hopes audiences will enjoy experiencing the adventure together.
"It's such a family film," she says. "I love seeing families go to the theater together. I think it's so important."
The Angry Birds Movie 3 isin theaters Dec. 23, 2026.
