Mercury Prize-winning singer-songwriter Sam Fender has teased a major UK and Ireland stadium tour for 2027 using a Lord of the Rings-inspired video featuring his bandmates.

The prospective tour includes a headline date at London's 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium, which would mark the biggest performance of Fender's career so far.

Other venues featured in the teaser video include St James's Park in Newcastle, the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Murrayfield in Edinburgh, and Malahide Castle in Ireland.

The tour tease comes amid speculation that Fender is a leading candidate to headline the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival when it returns in 2027 following its 2026 fallow year.

Fender's upcoming tour follows the chart-topping success of his duet “Rein Me In” with Olivia Dean, as well as his album People Watching, which won the 2025 Mercury Prize.
