If you're looking for a petite fashion icon to steal outfit tips from, start paying attention to Quinta Brunson. The Abbott Elementary star and creator stands tall at just 4'11"— although you'd never know it from photos alone. That's because Brunson is always decked out in clothes that perfectly flatter her shorter stature. Sometimes that means showing a little thigh to visually elongate her legs, but other times it's trading super-trendy wide-leg trousers for culottes.
Brunson was recently spotted wearing the spring-friendly style while out in New York City, reminding Us that these bottoms belong in every short girl's wardrobe. High-waisted and hitting just above the ankle, the swishy, slightly structured pick was paired with a cropped, collared sweater — a combination that subtly stretched Brunson's bottom half, making her appear model-tall. On Instagram, the star's stylist, Jessica Paster, tagged Kallmeyer as the brand behind the polished ensemble, but those hoping to save rather than splurge can still nail the look with $14 palazzo pants from Walmart.

Although they include belt loops and seem fit for the office, the RYRJJ alternative is secretly comfortable, made from a spandex-blend fabric that keeps them stretchy. Add in the secret elastic waist and roomy, wide legs, and you've got yourself a piece that nails the best of both worlds, feeling like pajamas while still nailing elevated, elegant spring style.

Aside from being lightweight and breathable enough for higher temperatures, the Walmart bottoms are short enough that those with little legs can slip them on and go — no tailoring required. They're the kind of fuss-free yet stylish piece you'll want to reach for every day of the week, whether you're rocking a tank top for a casual spin or slipping on a button-down for something more elevated. While you can snag the style in a dark gray shade similar to Brunson's culottes, it also comes in brighter, more vibrant colorways, like green and pink, as well as basic black and beige. All options are available in sizes small through XXL.

Sadly, the RYRJJ Women's Culottes have yet to rack up reviews, but its single 5-star rating does seem promising. If you'd rather not risk it, however, the retailer has plenty more culottes worth checking out. We're taking a note from Brunson and scooping some up, ASAP.
