Retirement isn't for everyone, including Mr. Clean.

After two weeks of some much-needed R&R, Mr. Clean is "stepping out of retirement."

According to Procter & Gamble, Veritably, more commonly known as Mr. Clean, is "newly inspired, freshly energized, and ready to reveal the biggest innovation of his legendary career."

Mr. Clean is back and better (rested) than ever.

Mr. Clean's "retirement" was tied to a March 4 announcement, in which the Procter & Gamble-owned brand unveiled a line of new and "upgraded" products.

"Innovations" include the biggest upgrade to Magic Eraser in 20 years, the new Shower & Tub Scrubber and new scents for the Multi-purpose Cleaner line-up.

"Legacies last forever, and Mr. Clean’s was nowhere near finished," Dave Landers, vice president of North America Surface Care, Procter & Gamble, said in a statement. "We’re thrilled he’s back, because there’s a whole lot of magic in the new product lineup and there is no one we’d rather partner with than the legend himself."

Here's what to know about Mr. Clean's "unretirement," including additional details about the brand's new and "upgraded" product line.

Mr. Clean is taking some much-needed time off after more than six decades of service.

Mr. Clean's newfound hobbies "sparked inspiration," according to Procter & Gamble. The "innovations," which include tougher Magic Erasers, an improved shower and tub scrubber, and a lineup of scents that smell like he bottled his beach vacations, were inspired by Mr. Clean's out-of-office activities.

"Today, I’m proud to share that I’m back," Mr. Clean announced on Wednesday, March 4. "I tried to stay retired, but the ideas got too big. The magic of cleaning called me back."
