Lisa Bonet, 58, Makes Rare Public Appearance for the First Time in 4 Years

Lisa Bonet made a rare public appearance at Paris Fashion Week on October 3.

She attended the Celine show, sitting in the front row and praising the house’s creative director, Michael Rider, for designing clothes that feel “wearable and elegant and special.”

Bonet’s waist-length silver locs stole the show at the event, and she looked stunning in a tan coat over a chic black ensemble.

Lisa Bonet made an ultra-rare public appearance over the weekend, sitting front row at Celine’s latest show at Paris Fashion Week on October 3.

The actress wore a tan coat atop a black top and black pants, accessorizing with circular black sunglasses and silver waist-length locs. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar as she sat front row, Bonet praised Celine’s creative director Michael Rider’s vision for the French luxury house.

“[I] love what Michael’s doing,” she told the outlet. “And so I think he’s brought just a freshness and a relevance. Fashion can just feel so extreme sometimes, or just out of people’s leagues, and where are you going to wear these things? But that’s what really caught my attention—not just about this collection, but the previous ones he’s done.”

“It just feels wearable and elegant and special,” she continued, adding, “I’m excited to put something elegant on.”

The 58-year-old typically eschews the spotlight, but did step out in June at the high school graduation of her daughter Lola Momoa, whom she shares with ex Jason Momoa. (The two also share son Nakoa-Wolf.) Bonet and Jason split in 2022 and finalized their divorce two years later in 2024, and Jason said at the Oscars in 2022 that, despite their breakup, “we’re a family. We have two beautiful children” (per Vanity Fair).

When they ended their relationship, the former couple wrote on Instagram, “The love between us continues, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We set each other free to be who we are learning to be. What remains is our unwavering devotion to this sacred life and to our children. Teaching them what is possible. And that love must prevail.”

In addition to her two children with Jason, Bonet also shares daughter Zoë with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz. Bonet and Zoë, who is engaged to Harry Styles, recently stepped out at one of Styles’s shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City together.
