King Charles has reportedly taken away one of his brother ex-Prince Andrew’s “last remnants of routine and freedom.” The news came after Thames Valley Police arrested the former Duke of York. Andrew was arrested at Wood Farm cottage in Sandringham Estate on February 19, which his 66th birthday. He has allegedly been released “under investigation.” New reports claim that the King has banned his brother from horse riding.

King Charles has reportedly given clear directions to ban his brother, ex-Prince Andrew, from horse riding. It was a pastime the former Duke of York used to enjoy regularly. As reported by RadarOnline, a source claimed that “Following Andrew’s arrest, a clear directive came down from the King that he was not to be seen riding out.” The person continued, “The feeling is that images of him on horseback, appearing relaxed or cheerful, would jar badly with the seriousness of the investigation hanging over him.”
The insider further said that “Horse riding was one of the few constants” remaining in Andrew’s life. He reportedly enjoyed it as his “daily routine, something that gave him purpose and a sense of normality.” The insider continued, “Those around him are asking how he is meant to fill his days now that even that small outlet has been taken away.”

Meanwhile, per the news outlet, a royal source claimed, “The optics are everything right now.” The person continued that the photos of Andrew “riding across Sandringham as if life were normal would send the wrong message.” The source then added, “The instruction is clear: keep a low profile and stay out of sight.”
The insider further went on to explain, “Riding was his escape, one of the last remnants of routine and freedom. Removing that privilege underlines how serious the situation has become.”
