WASHINGTON – Karoline Leavitt took her last ride as White House press secretary on Air Force One Friday when she accompanied President Trump to South Carolina for a midterm campaign rally.

Leavitt told reporters on the plane that she will miss her White House job, “but I love my kids even more.”

The New Hampshire native and youngest press secretary in White House history, who turns 29 on Monday, revealed she will be going to work for MAGA Inc., the pro-Trump political action committee.

In that capacity, she said she will accompany Trump to Dallas in mid-September for the GOP midterm convention, riding on the presidential plane with a new title.

Leavitt decided to leave her high-profile role shortly after giving birth to her second child in May.

After leaving the press secretary role at the end of this month, she will take a short vacation in her home state before returning to DC to start her new role.

“I’m gonna miss her,” Trump said before boarding the plane.

The search to replace Leavitt is ongoing and remains an “open book,” a senior administration official told The Post this week.

Trump mused about possible candidates after lamenting the exit of his longtime press aide.

“Scott Jennings is good,” he said when asked about reports the conservative CNN commentator is in the running for job.

Then he joked he may give the position to his longtime aide Margo Martin, who’s known for posting behind-the-scenes videos of work at the White House.
