Yes, that *Supergirl* voice cameo is exactly who you think it is.
Though he's not credited, four-time Emmy winner Seth Rogen, who's currently making season 2 of *The Studio*, lends his vocals to a small alien who helps operate a space bus transporting Kara Zor-El (Milly Alcock) and Ruthye Marye Knoll (Eve Ridley) across the universe.
"It could possibly be a very kind favor," director Craig Gillespie tells **.
"Craig knows people," Alcock teases. "Craig's well-connected."

"We were trying to figure out who could do that [voice role]," Gillespie says, "and I happened to text somebody, and they said sure."
*Supergirl*, inspired by the *Woman of Tomorrow* comic run by writer Tom King and artist Bilquis Evely, sees the hero on a bender. She's partying for her birthday on distant planets that orbit red suns, the kind that weaken Kryptonians' abilities so that she can feel the effects of alcohol.

It's during her heavy boozing that Kara is approached by a young alien girl, Ruthye, who seeks a warrior strong enough to slay the man who murdered her family, Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts). Before she can power back up, Supergirl takes a space bus, which is then robbed by pirates. Rogen's unnamed alien is there to provide the spare quip.

"I really wanted Craig to do the voice," Alcock says. "While we were shooting, I was like, 'Craig, it needs to be you.'"
Rogen seems like the next best thing.
