You've heard of Taco Tuesday. But what about Pancake Tuesday?
IHOP is once again declaring the first Tuesday of March as its own National Pancake Day and that means you can get a free short stack of pancakes on March 3 at its participating restaurants in the U.S. Some other restaurants celebrate National Pancake Day on Sept. 26.
This is IHOP's 21s anniversary of its National Pancake Day. The breakfast chain began the promotion as a way to raise money for charity and is encouraging diners to donate to Feeding America. Every $1 donated at IHOP restaurants on March 3 helps provide at least 10 meals to local Feeding America partner food banks, the company said.

How to get free pancakes at IHOP on March 3
On Tuesday, March 3, participating IHOP restaurants will be giving away a free short stack of three buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time to dine-in customers. No minimum purchase required.
You can use the chain's store locator to find the IHOP location closest to you. The company has nearly 1,800 locations worldwide, including all 50 states, two territories and 13 other countries.

For its National Pancake Day on Tuesday, March 3, IHOP's participating locations will give away free short stacks of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time.
IHOP is encouraging to meet up with friends for free pancakes and posting "intentionally DIY-looking flyers" to attract young adults to the promotion.
“This National Pancake Day, we want IHOP to feel like more than a restaurant," said Lenna Yamamichi, vice president for brand creative at IHOP, in a news release. "We're getting creative and flipping the narrative, transforming IHOP into the go-to meetup spot to grab a free Short Stack, settle into a booth, and turn a simple meal into quality time. No planning, no pressure, because pancakes just taste better when the table’s full.”
Free pancakes with Mr. Fantasy in LA
In Los Angeles, IHOP is teaming with viral personality Mr. Fantasy for a pancake meetup at its Hollywood restaurant at 7006 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood from 2-5 p.m. PST.
“Bringing people together in ALL shapes and forms is imperative to my mission here on this giant spinning marble we call EARTH. I can’t wait to meetup and share some fluffy stacks of deliciousness," Mr. Fantasy said in the news release. "Because nothing, I repeat, NOTHING, hits like pancakes with your favorite people. Love You.”
