A former TLC star is facing serious allegations in a new criminal case.
Karen Derrico, who starred on the network's *Doubling Down With the Derricos* for five seasons, was accused of threatening to kill her ex-husband and former costar, Deon Derrico, as well as their children in a criminal complaint filed in Nevada on Tuesday.
According to the complaint, which has been reviewed by **, Karen is accused of two felonies: preventing or dissuading a witness from testifying or producing evidence with immediate threat or use of physical force and aggravated stalking constituting domestic violence. She is also accused of harassment and violation of temporary order for protection against domestic violence, both of which are misdemeanor offenses.
EW has reached out to Karen's attorney for comment.

Karen's lawyer responded to the charges in a statement to PEOPLE. "The charges are total nonsense and fabricated by Mr. Derrico — the supposed 'victim,'" the attorney said. "This has everything to do with him being spiteful and malicious and nothing to do with him being frightened or harassed."
Deon did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.
Prosecutors accused Karen of preventing or dissuading Deon from appearing in court by "telling him to watch out, that she is getting a gun and/or will have someone kill him before he can go to court" on or around May 2.
Prosecutors also claimed that Karen "willfully, unlawfully, and knowingly" threatened "to cause bodily injury in the future" to Deon and their children, as they allege that she emailed him: "I want you dead. I could kill you and it won't even bother me to go to jail and I'll kill any of my kids if they take your side."

The Clark County District Attorney's office alleged that on June 17, Karen indicated "that she has a gun" and made "threats to kill him and/or his new girlfriend and/or his children." The prosecutors further alleged that Karen said that "killing him would be easy" and that "she will see to it that he dies a slow death," which made him feel "terrorized, frightened, intimidated, harassed, or fearful" on behalf of himself and his family.
