The new Spanish thriller has become a Top 10 hit on the streaming service since its premiere on Feb. 20.
Firebreak follows Mara (Belén Cuesta), a woman recovering from the death of her husband, Gustavo. Mara takes her 8-year-old daughter, Lide (Candela Martínez), her brother-in-law Luis (Joaquín Furriel), Luis' wife Elena (Diana Gómez) and their son, Dani (Mika Arias), to her family's cabin as she prepares to sell it.
While packing things up, they learn of a nearby forest fire that forces them to evacuate. After getting in a fight with Mara, Lide ventures out into the woods alone. Eventually, Mara and her family load up their van, and are about to leave when they discover that Lide is missing.
Their neighbor, Santiago (Enric Auquer), offers to help as Mara and Luis search for Lide in the forest, but time quickly starts running out. As the flames grow, so do Mara and Luis' suspicions of Santiago being involved with Lide's disappearance.
So, with Lide missing, and her family on a desperate search to find her, here's the ending of Firebreak, explained.
What happens at the end of Firebreak?

Santiago leads Mara and Luis into the forest, claiming he knows where Lide is. But Santiago leaving Mara and Luis, running further into the woods that are engulfed in flames.
Through the smoke, Santiago hears Lide crying out and goes to find her. He comes across her stuck in a ditch, and pulls her out. Mara finds them, and mistakenly thinks Santiago is attacking Lide. With that, Mara punches Santiago and knocks him out, leaving him in the forest.
Mara takes Lide out of the woods, but Lide tells her that Santiago saved her. Mara and Luis reunite, and they bring Lide back to the cabin. Mara then leaves Lide with Luis, and she goes into the woods to save her neighbor, who she wrongly accused.
Luis takes Lide to the hospital, and while driving there, they see Santiago on the side of the road, but without Mara. Santiago is picked up by another car, and is taken to the hospital. Shortly after, he is questioned by the police, but doesn't divulge what happened in the forest with Mara and Luis. Mara is later rescued by the authorities while Lide recovers at the hospital.
In the end, Mara's daughter and her family's cabin are both safe, with the fire now contained. Firebreak concludes with Santiago visiting Mara in Gustavo's studio at the house. Santiago has a present for Lide, an orange flame vine, a flower that grows after a fire.
