Erling Haaland has unveiled a dramatic new look after cutting off his trademark blond locks.
The Manchester City striker revealed his new buzzcut hairstyle on Sunday morning ahead of his sideās Premier League opener at home to Bournemouth later in the day.
āShort hair, donāt care,ā he posted on Instagram alongside a range of pictures to plug the latest episode for his YouTube channel, which has over four million subscribers.
Later in the episode, Haaland calls Pep Guardiola to get the former Manchester City managerās opinion on the dramatic transformation.
Haaland, 26, has not sported short hair since his time at Borussia Dortmund, where he played three seasons before joining City in 2022.
Haaland removed his hairband during a 4-1 win over Arsenal in 2023 on a raucous night at the Etihad as City beat their title rivals to move one step closer to winning the league. There will be no need for one now, though, with a close-cut look to mark a new campaign.

It is a new-look City in more ways than one this term with head coach Enzo Maresca looking to kickstart a new era following Pep Guardiolaās exit.
Maresca is hoping for an immediate return to form in Cityās Premier League opener after a chastening 3-0 defeat by Arsenal in the Community Shield last week.

So far, only Elliot Anderson has arrived but Maresca is hopeful the club will be active in the transfer market. Rodri has left for Barcelona while Savinho is closing in on a move to Tottenham.
āIāll try to find a new Rodri ā it is what it is,ā the former Chelsea manager said. āRodri, before he arrived here, he didnāt win the Ballon dāOr, he didnāt win the Champions League, he didnāt win the Club World Cup. Then he joined the club and then after he achieved many important things. Now the target for us is to try to find the new Rodri.
āWhen David Silva was here, everyone was worried - Kevin [De Bruyne] arrived. When Sergio Agüero was here, everyone was worried ā Erling [Haaland] arrived. When Ferdinando left, Rodri arrived. Itās just about this.
āWhen they leave, you need to be good and recruit the next one. They are all similar ā David, Kevin, Fernandinho, Rodri, Agüero, Erling. Itās just normal, itās a change. Itās not a problem, just go again and try to do the right things.ā

Maresca added: āHopefully we can do the things that we need to do,ā Maresca said ahead of Sundayās Premier League opener against Bournemouth. āIt doesnāt help that there are players that for different reasons want to leave, this is for sure.
āBut we need to adapt and we donāt want to keep players here that donāt want to stay.
āThe normal thing in transfer windows is that you have to wait because all the clubs try to keep players until the last week and then sell for more money.
āItās normal, Iām not worried about that. When the transfer window closes and we have all the squad there, for sure it will be different.ā
