The bride's grandmother, Estine Wells, 79, became the star of the wedding with her high-energy dancing until 1:30 a.m.
A video compilation of Estine dancing has garnered more than 20,000 views and glowing comments on TikTok
A bride's glamorous grandmother was the heart of her wedding celebration.
After Taylor Wells, 28, and Jordan Lazarus, 29, said "I do" in Florida on Feb. 21, the wedding spotlight shifted to the bride's 79-year-old grandmother, Estine Wells, who lit up the dance floor with her excitement and high energy. The 215 guests couldn't get enough of her.
"Everyone was freaking out," Taylor tells PEOPLE. "They were all coming up to me asking how old she was, asking if it was my grandmother. Everyone was so obsessed with her and just wanted to dance with her the whole night."

A video compilation of Estine dancing at the black-tie affair until 1:30 a.m. was shared on TikTok by Taylor, who wrote in the caption, "Mommom is an icon…. 🫢🤩." Since being posted on March 6, the video has garnered more than 20,000 views and more than 50 comments from users expressing how "obsessed" they are with Taylor's "epic, iconic [and] stunning" grandmother.
"She’s going on my vision board 😍," one person commented.
"Dancing like the queen she is," another user wrote.
Someone else added, "She’s that girlllll 💁♀️."
Taylor tells PEOPLE she was unsurprised that Estine stayed almost to the end of her wedding afterparty because she was one of the last people to leave the engagement party. She says, "It's definitely her MO to be on the dance floor."
Estine told Taylor she "had the best time" and that "it was one of the most fun times she's had in so long."

Estine was happy to make the journey to Florida from New Jersey, and dressed to the nines for the big day. She wore a light blue, strapless formal gown embellished with sequins and floral details, and accessorized with her best jewelry. For another bold pop of color, she wore red lipstick and matching nail polish.

"She was so excited," Taylor says. "She is the queen of glam. Like, she is the one who's sending me new products from Sephora all the time. So she was well-equipped for this day."
Taylor was "smiling all night long" with Estine and was "so grateful" for her presence.

After the wedding, the entire family was "freaking out" and "so excited" that the video of Estine dancing attracted such positivity. Estine is social media-savvy, with profiles on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, so she's been enjoying scrolling through all of the nice comments.
"I think she's been reading them every day since," Taylor says. "She's obsessed."

Taylor says she's always had a "very close" relationship with her grandmother.
"I'm fortunate enough to be able to see her multiple times a year, especially during the summers, growing up almost every weekend, which was so nice. So we're definitely very close," she tells PEOPLE. "She's always sending me different reels. So we're in constant communication through text, through call, through FaceTime, through Instagram reels."

Estine has taught Taylor and her sister "a lot" over the years, including flower knowledge, so she lent a helping hand with all of the wedding florals. She bonds with her granddaughters on "so many different things," including makeup, hosting and Pilates.
"She definitely lights up every room she walks into, and she is truly the life of the party," Taylor says.
