Ariana Grande is officially getting ready to return to the stage and fans are finally hearing more about what that moment will feel like.
While attending the 2026 Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica, the singer and actress shared a rare update about her upcoming the eternal sunshine tour, marking her first tour in six years.
The tour is set to kick off in June and comes after a long break from life on the road following her Sweetener World Tour in 2019. Speaking with E! News on the red carpet, Grande made it clear that the excitement is building, even if sheās keeping most of the details under wraps.

āIāve been working on the set list for months now,ā she said, explaining that the show is shaping up well but still needs time to come together. Rehearsals, she noted, are starting very soon, and thatās when everything will truly take shape.
Grandeās return to touring also comes at a busy moment in her career, as she wraps up her press commitments for Wicked: For Good, which earned multiple nominations at the Critics' Choice Awards, including her own nod for Best Supporting Actress.

Ariana Grandeās Long-Awaited Return
The the eternal sunshine tour will support Grandeās hit album eternal sunshine, which features fan-favorite tracks like āyes, and?ā and āwe canāt be friends.ā
The tour will include stops across North America and London, UK, making it one of her biggest live projects since before the pandemic.
Despite the scale of the tour, Grande says the version of herself fans will see onstage hasnāt changed much. When asked how ātour Arianaā compares to who she is now, she kept her answer simple and honest.
āI think itās the same person,ā she said. āI am grateful to work, and Iām excited for the tour.ā
Grande has hinted that this tour could be her ālast hurrahā for a while, which is why sheās focused on making it special. While chatting with E! News, she was also playfully pressed about whether fans might see a little bit of Glinda, her Wicked character, appear during the show.
Grande didnāt confirm or deny anything, only teasing, āWeāll have to see. I donāt know. Weāll see.ā
She added that once rehearsals begin and the production is on its feet, sheāll know what feels right, but until then, she wants to keep it a surprise.
Grandeās desire to protect the mystery of theeternal sunshine tour feels intentional. After months of set list planning, she still believes that some things canāt be decided until the full production comes together.
āWeāll never know until we get into the rehearsals,ā she explained, noting that seeing how songs and staging work in real time will help shape the final show.
As June 2026 approaches, excitement around the eternal sunshine tour is expected to grow, even without a full set list or stage concept revealed. For now, Grande seems content knowing the pieces are falling into place. And for fans, the promise of seeing her back onstage after six years is already enough to make this tour feel special.
